The Mirago SearchBar

Using the Mirago SearchBar

When you have successfully installed the Mirago SearchBar, just type in your search and press return or click Search.

Mirago Button

This will take you to the Mirago Home Page.
The down arrow to the right of the button will call a pop-up menu with the following options:

Mirago Home takes you to the Mirago Home Page

Regional Search takes you to the Mirago Regional Search

Mirago Directory takes you to the Mirago Directory

Preferences takes you to Mirago Search Preferences

Settings... allows you to select the country index you wish to search and the frequency of update alerts

Clear Search History clears your most recent searches from the search box drop down list

Check for latest version... checks for the latest version of the SearchBar

About... shows general information about the SearchBar

Help takes you to this page

Uninstall... removes the SearchBar from your computer

Search Box

Enter your search here and click Search or press enter. Alternatively highlight, drag and drop text into the search box from a webpage or another application.

The drop down menu from the search box saves your previous searches. To repeat a search simply click on the search term and press enter.

Search

Click 'Search' to see Mirago results

Email this page

To email your search results to a friend, click 'Email this page' and you will be prompted to fill in the details.

Highlight

This will highlight all occurences of your search words in the current browser page.

Magnify

You can use the magnifier to highlight (in orange) the next instance of your search term in the current browser page. If you search for more than one word, each word will appear in a drop down list when you click on the down arrow to the right of the button. The word you select will be displayed next to the magnifier icon.

Pop-up menu add-ons

If you highlight a word on the page you are viewing and right click, a pop-up menu will appear.

Select 'Search Mirago' to perform a search.
