Mirago plc's ("Mirago") search and information services available on this site are offered free-of-charge and are made available on that basis for non-commercial use only.

Mirago endeavours to maintain the service as being free from defects but is not responsible or liable for any consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise) for any errors or omissions within the service. Mirago retain the right to make changes to content without prior notice.

The Mirago application which comprises the indexing engine, the robot, the resulting indexes, the search engine and all ancillary components are the property of Mirago plc. The results from any Mirago search should not be reformatted and displayed on any other site without the specific permission of Mirago.

The Mirago logo can only be used as a link to this Mirago site and as such should be implemented in the form described within the appropriate section of the Mirago site.

Any Mirago channel content and supporting pages which encompasses news, weather and other information services is provided strictly on the basis that it is for the personal use only of visitors to the Mirago site.

Mirago have no control and can provide no guarantee as to the accuracy or quality of the information of sites linked to. As such Mirago in no way endorses the information contained therein or acts as an agent for the operators of the sites or bears responsibility or liability for the use or effect of the content of those sites or bears any liability for purchases of goods or services from those sites.

Index content

By the nature of Mirago, the indexes produce search results which refer to information on third party sites throughout the Internet.

Although Mirago provide some user determined mechanisms for screening the search results as to sexual or violent content, it should be clearly understood that such features should not be relied upon as an exclusive method of screening. Such search features purely act as an aid to screening and are neither comprehensive nor infallible.

It should be further understood that search expressions may inadvertently produce links to sites containing objectionable material, as these sites may also contain words or phrases submitted within the search expression.

Mirago constantly endeavours to take measures against such sites which attempt to mislead indexing robots by various mechanisms. Mirago retain the right to remove such sites from their indexes.

Topical content

Some types of content within this site including (where available) news, weather, sports and TV listings is prepared by independent correspondents or organisations and therefore do not reflect the views and opinions of Mirago or its staff.

The accuracy of this content is the sole responsibility of the original authors. Mirago bear no responsiblity for verifying any facts contained therein.

Any inadvertent errors by Mirago or content which is considered offensive, will be corrected or removed promptly upon discovery. Such obligation to correct shall constitute the sole liability of Mirago in this regard.

Robot control

The indexing of web sites occurs on an automatic basis. There are mechanisms for protecting information such as authentication areas and the robot exclusion standard to which Mirago adheres.

It is assumed by Mirago that if these mechanisms have not been employed within a site the information is published on the world wide web with the intention of making it public. A site will however be removed from the index following a duly authorised request sent to remove@mirago.co.uk.
